Chocolate Hemp Protein Bliss Balls

These Hemp Protein Balls are perfect to keep in the fridge for a protein-rich snack or as a treat for dessert or after a workout. Not only are they delicious, they’re full of fibre, amino acids and essential fatty acids. This recipe uses Kiki Health Organic Hemp Protein Powder, an easily digestible, plant-based and vegan-friendly source of complete protein. The hemp is grown naturally and sustainably, and the seed is cold-pressed to preserve all its nutritional benefits.



Main Ingredients:
  • ½ cup raw almonds
  • ½ cup raw walnuts
  • ¼ cup pitted dates
  • 3 tablespoons cacao or cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons Kiki Health Organic Hemp Protein Powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Shredded coconut for rolling (optional)
Instructions

Pulse the dates in a food processor, scoop out, and set aside. Next pulse the almonds and walnuts, then add all dry ingredients and pulse a few more times. Pour into a bowl and mix in the remaining ingredients. Refrigerate the mixture for 10 to 15 minutes, then spoon out and roll into balls (the mixture might be quite fragile!), rolling over shredded coconut if desired. These delicious Hemp Protein snack balls will last in the fridge for up to a week!
